The Inara Quarterly Workshop is a one-day business workshop series organized by Inara Foundation in every quarter of the year to equip young Nigerians with different business skills and other soft skill that will help them thrive in their businesses while bridging the huge unemployment gap in the country.

The recent edition was an Agribusiness Workshop that took place at the Nigerian Army Resource Centre, Abuja on Saturday, 22nd of February 20200 and lasted the whole day. The theme of the workshop is: “A deep dive into Agribusiness strategy and innovation”.

The Founder of Inara Foundation, Ms. Aisha Umar explained, “We believe that innovation in the agricultural sector is key to driving economic growth and addressing the socio-economic challenges our nation presently faces. Our workshop speaks to the crucial role of young entrepreneurs in innovation, job creation and for fueling economic growth. The aim is to motivate young entrepreneurs to ideate, innovate, develop and disrupt ways of doing Agribusiness in Nigeria.”

The workshop engaged an excellent and diverse group of speakers from the private sector, Non-Governmental organizations, financial institutions, and various government organizations, including the Development Bank of Nigeria, and Nigeria Export Promotion Council. The participants for our workshops were young entrepreneurs already in business or about to start up. The Arewa Youth Agropreneurs (AYAP) had the most participants at he workshop and also used the opportunity to showcase many of their businesses and innovations. The content and approach for the workshop was not be basic, hence the deep dive.
